Ivan Rakitic is a Croatian professional football player. He also plays Barcelona F.C. He plays central or attacking midfield position. In his early carrer of football 1992–1995 he plays FC Mohlin-Riburg youth team and 1995–2005 FC Basel youth team. 2005-2007 he plays FC Basel senior team. He also plays Schalke 04. 2007–2011 he plays this club. Then he joined Sevilla and plays this club 2011-2014. In 2014 he joined Spanish giant club FC Barcelona. Now he is Croatia national football team player but first he plays Switzerland U21 national team. 2006-2007 he plays this team. He is a Swiss citizen by birth. On 8 September 2007 he made his first international debut for Croatia national football team.
In April 2013 Ivan Rakitic got married. His wife name is Raquel Mauri. Its a totally love marriage. Because in July 2013 born their daughter Althea.
